If your vehicle is 3 years or older, you are lawfully required to arrange an annual safety inspection. This check is called the ministry of transport test, or the MOT test. This ensures that the vehicle meets the minimum safety level, as specified by the law. It is your own responsibility to make sure your vehicle is inspected annually. If you do not have an MOT certificate, it will be against the law to operate your vehicle.
The majority of services last a few hours, though this is dictated by the service you choose. We will get in touch with you when your vehicle is ready to be collected.
Yes, we do.
You may be informed by your manufacturer or dealer, though it is up to you to confirm when the renewal date is and arrange a meeting with an approved MOT test centre.
If a vehicle fails its MOT, it doesn’t adhere to the set legal requirements and will need to be fixed to meet MOT testing standards. The MOT report covers information about the failure, in addition to advisories that are suggested for attention though not compromising the specifications required to pass the test.
